BMHS Marching Band

The 2017 Marching Band and Color Guard took home another New England Scholastic Band Association Division 1 Championship on Sunday. The Marching Band has earned the title for the 4th consecutive year. Their score of 97.70 bested Joseph Case HS, Prouty HS, Tewksbury Memorial, Dedham HS, Fitchburg HS, and Bedford HS.




BMHS Cheerleaders

Last week our Cheerleaders held our first-ever Think Pink Cheering Competition at BMHS and took home the Grand Championship honors before showing up and supporting the first-ever BMHS Unified basketball game in the Ed James Gymnasium on Wednesday. They rounded out the week with a Merrimack Valley COnference Division 2 Championship. 

MIAA Playoffs

Boys' Soccer - vs. #5 Belmont High School Tuesday, November 7th @ Belmont High School 6 p.m.





MVC Championships - Swim & Dive

The Swimming and Dive team competed in the MVC Championships this Sunday at WPI. Troy Eakman and Matt St. John led the way for the boys scoring 48 points each. Troy took 1st place in all 4 races in which he competed. Stella Centola led the way for the ladies accumulating 12 points finishing as high as 11th place out of 63 swimmers in the 100 yard breaststroke.


BMHS Staff in the News

Our Library Media Specialist, Mrs. Bouhanda, has been chosen to serve as the Legislative Committee Co-Chair on the 2017-18 Executive Board of the Massachusetts School Library Association. 









BMHS Students in the News

Senior Rebecca Regal has been volunteering with the Greener Pastures Riding Program, an outdoor program for special needs families, since she was 13.



Class of 2016 alumnus Drew Laundry wrapped up his freshmen year at Towson State competing in the Division 1 Lacrosse Final Four at Gillette Stadium. Check out his interview in the November/December issue of New England Lacrosse Journal.






International World War II Museum

Once again our students had Mrs. States beaming with pride at their incredible level of maturity, respect and engagement during their trip to the International WWII Museum in Natick. Our students asked insightful and probing questions, took advantage of being able to interact with some of the artifacts, and displayed the utmost respect for the museum. The museum staff even commented on what a great group they were. 





Closing the Chapter on 2017-2018
